In this case, the party is fermentation. Every jar of Shatta starts there. But for us, the process does not stop once the chillies are fermented. The brine left behind is packed with flavour, so we give it a second life. Call it our Fil-osophy.

It becomes the foundation for our Shatta Jam and Shatta Hot Sauce, transforming what would normally be discarded into something bold, bright and full of depth.

One jar brings slow sweetness and gentle heat. The other delivers vibrant, savoury spice.

Spoon it over eggs, layer it into sandwiches, glaze roasted veg, or add a little Fil to whatever’s on the table.

The bundle includes:

• Shatta Hot Sauce 165g - Fil's Shatta Hot Sauce is a smooth, pourable twist on our original Bird's Eye Shatta.
• Shatta Jam 220g - The fresh spiciness of Shatta combined with the sweetness of jam.
